Moving Forward!

Do you want to know what your life will look like in five years? It has a lot to do with what you are doing today…………………….

Is your daily routine aligned with your goals? Do you even have goals? Are the people around you challenging you and stretching you to your full potential? If you answered YES to this question; GREAT JOB! Keep going. If you answered NO then I challenge you to start small and build on it each day, you will quickly begin to see the progress. {If you don’t have any goals, start there:-)}

At times when we become stagnant we have to evaluate everyone around us, it was once said “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with” {Jim Rohn}, typically who and what you are around begins to shape you, whether its consciously or sub-consciously. There are many reasons for this, the people you are around regulate what topic of conversation control’s your attention, their attitudes and behaviors begin to rub off on you and eventually you begin to think and behave like them. Imagine being around motivating, positive, financially stable, goal setting {and crushing} individuals the majority of the time, would you be the only one slacking?? Probably not!

Moving forward keep in mind, what you won’t leave is where you will get stuck at, be extremely selective and intentional on how you spend your time. This is an area I struggle in, often times I find myself teetering back and forth; questioning why I don’t have the results I want. Can I be completely honest???? It’s because I haven’t consistently made the necessary adjustments to see the results I want, it is almost as if I justify being average at times. What am I doing to correct this? Getting back to the basics of what works for me as well I have an accountability partner until I am able to fully sustain on my own.

Remember don’t wait for friends or family to celebrate your success as a measure of how great you are doing or your progress, why… unfortunately sometimes they aren’t happy for themselves and this stops them from being happy for you.

I challenge you each day to do one thing that will bring you closer to your ultimate goal, it’s not that you don’t have the time you just don’t want to {you choose to do something else}.
